The so called top 6 will continue to get the run of the green even with VAR. The league don't the likes of us near the top.

Hammers aren't supposed to be Top 4. Come officials restore the Status quo before Christmas. Good effort today , refs, keep it up.

It's fucking depressing, isn't it?
We're trying to put the sport back into the game and the money-men stamp right down on it.
Nailed on we're denied by VAR or a dodgy decision tomorrow - put your house on it.
Look at how many times Everton were denied "borderline" goals earlier this week. Bent as a nine bob note is today's game.

“ Darren it’s Stockley Park here, just had a call from the league. They are concerned that you are running out of time to give Man Utd a penalty, can you see what you can do “
“ Hi Darren, great job. We have reviewed it for 3 seconds and it’s 100% a penalty. Keep an eye on Kruls feet just in case Ronnie misses “

Seriously it’s time that the refs and VAR are micked up so that we can hear exactly what’s discussed between them, it’s done in rugby union, or are the authorities scared of being found out to be “helping” the big boys.

Antonio’s goal against Brighton was checked for what seemed like 15 minutes in the hope of finding a reason to disallow it.

No way indeed. He touched his shoulder and Ronaldo went down like a sack of spuds the cheating tosser. And of course VAR weren't going to change it.

No one outside of the big 4 would have got that penalty.
If you give that then you have to give a penalty EVERY time players get slightly touched in the box.

Manure only drawing at half time, just put £10 on them getting a penalty 2nd half, an utter certainty.

Tbh Difficult to argue against Salah penalty. He got slightly in front on Mings, got his leg across Mings and they tangled. He plays for it but i would expect a pen if Antonio did the same.

Did someone say Salah went down to easy and it was a dubious penalty, now how many times in the past have I heard that statement

There are 7 spots for English clubs in European football.
Six are (reserved) for those who tried to form a breakaway league and the 7th is there just to "prove" that European football is achievable on merit.
The powers that be are determined to get their way.
The only thing that can really fuck it up is if one or more of the comparable mainland European clubs fold/get into the shit
